"Equipment did not work since the first week of install, after several visits from vendor tech , no one could figure it out. Finally got a call from Graphtecs tech. Very rude, condescending and yelling. Then told me they would not help me with the defective equipment ,nor would they take it back or refund an $8000 purchase. Absolutely HORRIBLE company with NO responsibility."
I am having an issue with my Graphtec FC-9000-140. It is cutting them deep enough in some spots. However, some areas are not deep enough when cutting out on the same job. The blade force is set at max and the depth is very deep and cut all the way through the vinyl a few times. The top knob has...
Graphtec tech support just called. Said USB port is likely shot on plotter and you need to use Graphtec-specific serial cable that has different pin layout from standard serial cable. Of course, they no longer sell them. He sent me a diagram of the pin layout but there's no way I'm soldering those hair-thin wires.
Hi all — I’m trying to revive a used Graphtec CE6000-60 plotter that appears to have been flashed with the wrong firmware (possibly from a CE6000-120AP). It powers on, but initially throws this error: NG!!! DIP-SW = 0001 FIRMWARE = 120AP (AP DIP-SW = 0011) I pulled the side panel and changed...
I have a problem with my FCX4000 (e01017). After starting, the memory is tested, the 2 blades move briefly down and up again, but the cutting surface is not...

I have an old GCC cutter that runs circles around this Graphtec. In order to use the arms sensor you have to waste a ton of material by giving it huge side margins.
I have a CE5000-60. It's about a year old and I've never had problems until now. I'm cutting pretty detailed lines. I can cut two of the same image and one will cut perfect while the other will be slightly incomplete. If I cut a circle it will be almost complete- there will be a slight tag that...
Im having this issue which is really frustrating. Im using a Graphtec FC9000 & Onyx X22 cut server It's set up to cut Segment Area Correction every 0.5m The page is set to the max 5000cm (5m) The problem: It'll cut about 15-16 meters of vinyl, read the next mark, then take it straight home...
The Graphtec FC machines do have more cutting force than the drag knife Summa models (600 grams on the FC8600 & 400 grams on the S2 D Series), but they only offer accurate contour cuts up to 80" so for contour cutting applications they aren't nearly as good.
